Breathwork/Rebirthing Group

Breathwork/Rebirthing Group

This weekly open group is for those who wish to identify and shift the roots of disturbing patterns in their lives. Rebirthing is a gentle way of breathing which can take us into painful, frightening or exhilarating places in our body and mind with the aim to transform our lives.

Come and experience an amazing, deep yet simple way of breathing which enables you to let go with love the patterns which are no longer needed in your life. This way of breathing also allows spiritual awakening and provides a means of connecting with your Higher Self.

Breathe well

We live in a time where we are trying to be smarter than nature, where we want to ban using herbs and natural remedies; only to chemically imitate them, where quite a few of us are not listening to our bodies and its needs, instead just following the latest food trends. A healthy diet which used to be so affordable now has its prices soaring. However, there is one thing which is always healing, nurturing, so simple that it often gets overlooked....it's our breath.
Next time when you can't sleep, play with your breath. A few times breathe through your nose on the count of four, and hold it, letting the breath nourish your organs on the count of seven, and breathe out through your mouth on eight. The first time you may feel a bit uncomfortable but with practice, you reach a transition point, and the benefits are enormous.
Did you know that breath can be alkalising or acidising? Shallow breathing causes the acid in our body to build, and at the same time the decrease in the amount of enough oxygen means that carbon dioxide (CO2) accumulates in your body. High level of CO2 decrease pH, which leads to acidification of the blood. Proper deep breathing improves circulation, detoxifies your body, relaxes you but at the same time also enlivens you. It is important to remember that most of our sicknesses are due to too much acid in our body. Alexander Lowen stated that “Life is a matter of breath”, so BREATHE WELL.
